Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated and drag reduced from the addition of the rear diffuser. During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This resulted in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.

The Verus Engineering diffuser decreases the overall lift and reduces the drag of the ND Miata. Since the diffuser decreases lift and reduces drag, the overall aerodynamic efficiency is improved. The diffuser strakes help create vortices that keep flow attached to the diffuser surface. The diffuser creates a low-pressure zone where the diffuser is located and also creates a lower pressure zone in the middle of the chassis. This equates to a small change in aerodynamic balance. The Verus Engineering diffuser helps the ND Miata get more from the tires at the track and also increases gas mileage on a daily driver. The diffuser will be a great addition on either a normal daily driver or a track rat.
